Q: If I am a book seller or other retailer, how should I order?
A: Bookstores (including church bookstores), libraries, catalogs, distributors, and other booksellers should refer to Trade Services before placing their order.
Q: How do I find items for purchase on www.judsonpress.com?
A:

To find a specific product use the Search box to search by title, keyword, author name, or ISBN. To browse a category of products use the Product Catalog. For books by subject, click on Books. Curricula is also available in the Product Catalog and can be searched for by age level, and by resources specifically for VBS, Small Groups, and African American and Spanish-speaking churches. Church Resources are also listed in the Product Catalog.

Note: Booksellers should refer to Trade Services before using the site.

Q: When will my book order be shipped?
A: Orders for stock products will ship in 1-3 days and arrive (based on destination) within 7-10 business days. Retail orders with email contact information should receive a confirmation and tracking email from the designated shipper.
Q: When does curriculum ship?
A: Dated curriculum material will ship 4-5 weeks before the quarter starts. Undated, in stock curriculum ships in 1-3 days.
Q: What does it mean if a product is on backorder?
A: If a product has not been released yet, or if the quantity you have requested exceeds what is available in inventory, we will not be able to ship the full quantity to you immediately. We will ship as many as we have available when we receive your order and the rest will be shipped as soon as we have re-stocked this item, at no additional shipping charge to you.
Q: What does it mean if a product is on "pre-order"?
A: Pre-order items are those that have not been published yet. The date indicated is the release date--the date the item should ship from our warehouse. Pre-ordering allows you to reserve a copy of an upcoming title.
Q: Most products show a discounted web price under the regular retail price, but some show only one set price. Why aren't someproducts discounted?
A: Books published by Judson Press are discounted by 20% on the web site. However, we also offer select books from other publishers. Those books are not discounted so the price appearing is the actual price.
Q: Why can't I check out?
A: Website orders require a minimum purchase of $5.00 before shipping, handling and tax (CA residents only). If your subtotal is less than $5.00, the Check Out option will not be available. The Check Out button will appear after you reach that $5.00 minimum.
Q: What are my payment options?
A: For retail orders we accept Master Card and VISA, credit or debit. If you have a Judson Press church account, you can also have orders billed to that account. To activate an existing Judson account, or to set up a new one, contact customer service at customerservice@judsonpress.com. Trade customers should refer to Ordering Information under Trade Services for payment options.

A: California residents are required to pay a 7.50% tax on their order.
Q: What is your shipping policy, including charges?

Q: What are your international ordering and shipping policies?
A: International orders must be pre-paid. Express shipping and order tracking are not available. Recipient will be responsible for actual shipping costs as well as any possible customs or import duty charges.
Q: What is your return/refund policy for books?
A: Product may be returned within 30 days of the invoice date. It must be in good, saleable condition. You are responsible for shipping charges unless there was an error made by Judson Press. This policy only applies to retail orders. Trade customers should refer to Ordering Information under Trade Services for our return policy. Once we process your return, a credit/refund will be issued to your Judson account.
Q: What is your return policy for curriculum?
A: Dated curriculum returns must be postmarked by the last business day of the first month of the quarter (Fall – September, Winter – December, Spring – March, Summer – June).  Non-dated curriculum is fully returnable up to 60 days from the date of the invoice.  Returns must be received in good, saleable condition.  Customer is responsible for return postage and will not be credited for the original shipping costs.  We highly recommend insuring packages for return and/or using a method of shipping that allows for tracking the return.
Q: What is your return policy for church supplies and merchandise?
A: Church supplies and merchandise and non-returnable.
Q: What is a Sunday school curriculum standing order?

Q: I cannot see the entire width of the Judson Press web site on the screen unless I use the scroll bars to manipulate the display. Is there an easy way for me to see more of the website on the screen?
A:

For those customers with a Windows based system, the best way to increase the width of your screen display is to increase your screen resolution. The screen resolution is given in pixels. The higher the number of pixels, the more data you will see displayed on your screen. The higher the number of pixels, the smaller the size of the text. It's a trade-off between the size of the characters and the width of the screen display.

To change the resolution of your screen, do the following:

  • First, close all programs
  • Right click on the background of your desktop
  • Choose Properties from the drop down menu and click on the Settings tab on the top right of the Display Properties screen
  • On the lower right of the screen is a sliding scale that will give you the number of pixels your screen is currently using and a lever that indicates a setting between LESS and MORE. By using your mouse you can drag the lever toward MORE to use more pixels and thereby increase the width of your screen.
  • The system should display the screen under the new resolution to give you a few seconds to decide if you want to keep the new setting. If you choose not to accept the new setting it will automatically go back to your original setting.
  • If after you change the setting you decide you want to return to the way it was, you can always change it back by repeating these instructions and moving the lever to the LESS side.

For those customers who are on a MAC OS, open System Preferences, choose Displays, and click on the desired resolution.
