Description
Read the Foreword
From one of the most respected statesmen in the African American church comes an inspirational resource that communicates with unbridled passion what it means to speak truth to power. As an influential leader in the contemporary church, for decades Dr. J. Alfred Smith Sr. has demonstrated for "all who have ears to hear" what it means to speak prophetically in the biblical tradition.
Rooted firmly in messages from both the Old and New Testaments, Dr. Smith's compelling book will inform preachers and teachers who aspire to proclaim peace and justice in their ministries. For parents, church members, and citizens, this resource will inspire all who dare to speak the truth regardless of the consequences.
Destined to be a classic, Speak until Justice Wakes seals the legacy of J. Alfred Smith Sr. as one of the country's foremost advocates of prophetic ministry.
