Reviews
"Well written, up to date, and quite informative. It was nice to read a book that was focused on the spiritual positive and negative aspects of technology." iParenting Media Awards reviewer
"I like how the author used things from her own life and experience. I found the book easy to read and entertaining. I also thought the 'Get Connected' bits throughout each chapter and 'Good discussion starters' were helpful. It's a great way to really get the parents involved." iParenting Media Awards reviewer
"I believe this book opened the doors between my child and myself in reference to the Internet. We can now agree on the surfing, MySpace, and really understand and acknowledge the trust we have in each other." iParenting Media Awards reviewer
"Highly recommended for parents everywhere." Midwest Book Review
"If we blink, the technology changes. How's a parent to keep up? Dr. Peggy Kendall provides the answer with this wonderfully practical and useful book. If your kids are on the Internet, this is a must-read."David Walsh, PhD, President, National Institute on Media and the Family and author of No: Why Kidsof All AgesNeed It and Ways Parents Can Say It
"I love this book because it gives practical advice on how to build these bridges between Gutenberg people and Google people. Instead of the customary narrative of cultural decline, expressions of cultural anxiety, denunciation of the awfulness of the times, not to mention millennial moanings, what Peggy Kendall gives us are strategies for passing the baton onto succeeding generations without the trade of tirades."From the Foreword by author, speaker, and professor, Leonard Sweet, Drew Theological School, George Fox University
