Author Bio
Hugh Poland, MDiv, is a member of the Society for American Baseball and the Woodworkers' Club of Houston. He has utilized many of the illustrations in Intentional Walk, Steal Away, and The Master Carpenter during his ministry in Texas churches. He is a regular contributor to the men's devotional magazine, Stand Firm, as well as PreachingToday.com, and has also been published in The Student and Church Musician and Leadership Journal. The author has degrees from Houston Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
