FAQ

Q: If I am a bookseller or other retailer, how should I order?
A: Bookstores (including church bookstores), libraries, catalogs, distributors, and other booksellers should refer to Trade Services before placing their order.

Q: When will my book order be shipped?
A: Orders for stock products will ship within 48hrs and arrive (based on the destination) within 7-10 business days. Retail orders with email contact information should receive a confirmation and tracking email from the designated shipper.

Q: When does the curriculum ship?
A: Dated curriculum material will ship 4-5 weeks before the quarter starts. Undated, in-stock curriculum ships in 48 hours.

Q: What does it mean if a product is on backorder?
A: If a product has not been released yet, or if the quantity you have requested exceeds what is available in inventory, we will not be able to ship the full quantity to you immediately. We will ship as many as we have available when we receive your order and the rest will be shipped as soon as we have re-stocked this item, at no additional shipping charge to you.

Q: What does it mean if a product is on "pre-order"?
A: Pre-order items are those that have not been published yet. The date indicated is the release date-the date the item should ship from our warehouse. Pre-ordering allows you to reserve a copy of an upcoming title.

Q: Most products show a discounted web price under the regular retail price, but some show only one set price. Why aren't some products discounted?
A: Books published by Judson Press are discounted by 20% on the website. However, we also offer select books from other publishers. Those books are not discounted so the price appearing is the actual price.

Q: What are my payment options?
A: For retail orders we accept Master Card, VISA, and American Express. If you have a Judson Press church account, you can also have orders billed to that account. To activate an existing Judson account, or to set up a new one, contact customer service at customerservice@judsonpress.com. Trade customers should refer to 'How to Order' information under Trade Services for payment options.

Q: Do I have to pay taxes on my online order?
A: California residents are required to pay a 7.50% tax on their order.

Q: What is your shipping policy, including charges?
A: Shipping costs are automatically calculated for your purchase based upon package weight and dimensions. If you'd like more information on shipping charges, please contact customer service at 800-458-3766. All orders will have a $2.50 handling charge included.

Q: What are your international ordering and shipping policies?
A: International orders must be pre-paid. Express shipping and order tracking is not available. The recipient will be responsible for actual shipping costs as well as any possible customs or import duty charges.

Q: What is your return/refund policy for books?
A: TRADE ACCOUNTS

• Books can be ordered on a returnable basis.
• Returns may be made after 90 days of the invoice date, but may not exceed 6 months.
• Books must be "in print" and received in good, saleable condition, as determined by the publisher.
• Purchaser is responsible for all return mailing charges.
• For full credit, you must provide a copy of the invoice number, date of purchase, and discount allowed.
• If an invoice cannot be provided, a credit will be issued at 55%.
• Credit is applied against open invoices. The remaining amount will be refunded.
• Return of out-of-print books is strictly prohibited.
• Merchandise returns other than books are not permitted.

• Returns must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase.
• Credit is applied against open invoices. The remaining amount will be refunded.

Q: What is your return policy for curriculum?
A: Dated curriculum returns must be postmarked by the last business day of the first month of the quarter (Fall - September, Winter - December, Spring - March, Summer - June). Non-dated curriculum is fully returnable up to 60 days from the date of the invoice. Returns must be received in good, saleable condition. The customer is responsible for the return postage and will not be credited for the original shipping costs. We highly recommend insuring packages for return and/or using a shipping method that allows tracking the return.

Q: What is your return policy for church supplies and merchandise?
A: Church supplies and merchandise and non-returnable.

Q: What is a Sunday school curriculum standing order?
A: With a standing order, you tell us the product and quantity you want to receive every quarter and we automatically ship it to you, saving you a phone call or fax each quarter. You can make changes to this order as long as you respond to the confirmation order form we send you before that quarter's shipment.

Q: How do I publish a book with Judson Press?

Q: How can I arrange to have Judson Press sell books at my event?
A: Please contact our Marketing Coordinator who will answer your event-related questions.

Q: Do you give away books to qualified organizations?
A: Judson Press individually reviews each request for donated books. Please address your request to the assistant of the publisher.

Q: Do you accept advertising in your dated publications?
A: Yes, Judson Press accepts limited advertising in both The Secret Place and Judson Bible Journeys for Adults.
