"Crazy Faith by Susan K. Williams Smith is one of the most inspirational and motivating books I have ever read (and I have lived a long time). Rather than give merely plaudits to the author, I would rather emphasize my gratitude and appreciation for something I've needed for myself...which is 'Crazy Faith.'" John Morgan, BA, MA, Pastor, Counselor
"Crazy Faith emphasizes the amazing accomplishments of several biblical persons and latter-day counterparts. It is well thought out and the conclusions drawn by Susan Smith are thought provoking, giving the reader another paradigm to consider. Through intriguing imagery, familiar bible renditions of struggle, faith, and courage come alive...The stories of "crazy faith" taken from more modern experiences are informative and truly inspiring. Each is presented with vivid details that will leave the reader in awe." Reviewed by Diane A Brown, Armchair Interviews.com
"This wonderfully small and powerful book combines Scripture with mini, historical biographies of people who have made crazy faith the focus of their lives." Precious Times, Holiday 2009
"....A powerful call to higher and deeper faith. [These stories] lend themselves to the proclamation of faith in churches and synagogues everywhere. Clergy may well find them useful as superb sermon illustrations, where they will no doubt inspire as effectively as they do in print form."Jerry Gladson, APC, First Christian Church, Marietta, GA, as reviewed in Sharing the Practice, Spring 2009
"Crazy Faith is a spiritual book of history, sure to inspire." Midwest Book Review
"Susan Smith has given us a mighty work that retells the stories of those who have turned vision, faith, and action into marvels of human accomplishment. Crazy Faith: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives reminds us that faith is not a destination, but a journey, and along the way, each of us can become an instrument of God's miracles. In the stories of the s/heroes with whom we journey in the book, we discover, affirm, and renew the seeds of the crazy faith that lie within each of us." Dr. Iva E. Carruthers, Secretary General, Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference
