Reviews
“For more than three decades, Rev. Dr. Will Ashley has been the go-to person for wisdom and leadership on grassroots, faith-based social change. As an experienced pastor and highly credentialed psychotherapist, he draws from multiple traditions and disciplines to guide individuals and organizations on the path toward personal and societal transformation. New Rules for Radicals is the distillation of that vast experience. Following the path set out in this book will lead to meaningful results for communities, while helping faith-based leaders stay focused on the reality that activism's foundation is composed of humans often frail and mortal. For those seeking a better self, community, nation, or world, this book is pure TNT!” —Rabbi Craig B. Miller, past vice president, New York Board of Rabbis
“Finally! A PRACTICAL book with clear steps to help clergy—“leaders of faith communities”—become more effective in their spiritual-religious leadership. Numerous personal stories throughout the book help the reader fully grasp each of the “Cs” needed to successfully change our unjust world the way our faith demands us.” —Rabbi Stephen B. Roberts, DD, MBA, BCC, Founder & President – ChaplainDL – Chaplain Distance Learning, Past President – NAJC (Association of Jewish Chaplains), Editor: Professional Spiritual and Pastoral Care: A Practical Clergy and Chaplain's Handbook
