Author Bio
Dawn M. Doerr-Johnson, LMFT, LMHC, is a dually licensed therapist providing marriage and family therapy as well as mental health care in a school setting. In 2017, she became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and added credentials as a licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2018. Doerr-Johnson specializes in treating girls and young women. She served on the National Leadership Team of American Baptist Girls in Relationship, Leadership, and Service as Resources Coordinator from 2000 to 2003, then as National Coordinator from 2003 to 2006. She also worked as a Regional Manager for Girl Scouts USA from 2006 to 2010.
